MISTBOUND
A downloadable game for Windows
The vacancy sign is buzzing. The fog is thick. You shouldn't have opened the door.
ABOUT THE GAME
MISTBOUND is a heavily atmospheric, retro-styled psychological horror experience. You play as the manager of a desolate, isolated roadside motel. Shift after shift, your only job is to hand over the rusted keys and tend to the needs of the weary travelers that emerge from the heavy fog.
But tonight is different. The guests checking in aren't just looking for a place to sleep. They are carrying heavy burdens, lingering grief, and unspeakable secrets. As you interact with them through the glass of the reception desk and the peeling wallpaper of their rooms, the line between reality and your own psychological abyss begins to blur.
Will you survive the night shift?

Hi there
I have a let's play of MISTBOUND uploading on Saturday. If you're interested I'll leave it below, the link should let you see it before then. (Quality may look bad until it uploads, not sure I'm still learning my way around some of this)
I do have some thoughts I kind of go over at the end of the video but here's a much easier read of it than how I said it in the video
Main thoughts.
*GAMEPLAY* Finding the keys was more complicated than it felt like it needed to be simply because I feel there was a big disconnect in what was said about the key and where it was actually found, both keys I was searching for quite some time before locating them.
*BUG* So you can click Elena through the door after speaking to her and it repeats but when you walk away from speaking the second time some sort of invisible wall appears at both of the stairs entrances leaving you stuck 2nd floor balcony. Only resolution I found was to restart the game.
Minor more subjective thoughts.
I like how they have their own descriptions for their own incidents but the sounds that go with finding their key don't really feel connected. I just thought that maybe if you were able to add in a some sort of crash type sound which resembled how their story may sound it may feel more effective and connected to the character when you find their respective keys.
Other than that I loved the concept and you really have a great idea right here. Don't get discouraged! KEEP CREATING!
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time. I'm sorry about the bug—I'll try to make sure these issues don't happen in the next game.
The game was awful, next time release a good game.
I'll definitely do it, but first, I want you to explain the reason for your remark and clarify your criticism.
A little harsh for giving 0 tips or criticism that would actually help them.
0/10 on the feedback scale :)
Thanks for trying out the game and sharing your feedback with us! You are totally right about 'park' instead of 'garden.' I’ll definitely try to fix that. Thanks for taking the time, talk soon!
Thank you for sharing your experience.
